Good-looking Guy on the Premise

Crap, I'm starting to get bored of my layout again so I think anytime soon, I'm gonna change it. Do anticipate the change alright? Haha.

Lately, I've been noticing this guy on campus and thats partially because he noticed me first too. My friends said that I could be too sensitive in this case and might mistake his actions so I got a little uncertain after hearing that. Presently, I'm in a dilema between whether taking the first step or just keeping things the way they are. On one hand, I really wanna get to know this guy, he seems like a pretty person. On the other, his social circle is really different from mine, so I'm not sure if I would make a laughing stock out of myself if i make the first move.

Kah Lok gave this little encouragement that he would be happy if it was me making the first move but it doesn't really help on how! I read Seventeen and there was this line "Hey, I've never really done this before but I think you're cute and I got tired of waiting for you to talk to me." Omg, its so daring! But serene and kah lok said "NONONONONO" with the capital "N" and they were laughing at me some more. Haha, these jokers arh...

Okok, I know you guys are gonna bombard and tell me to focus on my studies but please be in my position too. You can't expect this ahlian over here to study 24/7! Shouldn't my college life have a little bit of romance? ;)

Listen to me loud and listen to me clear! Cause JC's life is not as great and fun as I imagined it to be! Where's the drama? Where's the fun? Thank god i've got the classmates and friends, but it's just meaningless. I might be suffering from pms currently so please excuse my melodrama on this post. Being bored and out of our wits, Pei Wen and I thought of this brainless scheme to spruce up all youngsters life.

Ah ah ah, don't get too happy yet, there's an age requirement. Ages 16-19 only! Whats more, Matchmaking Services hasn't even been created yet! But anyway, our aims with this service is to get lonely souls like me a little bit of action and adventure in our lives. Nono, its not about finding a boyfriend or girlfriend and its hell not about making new friends, its about the both us, being bored, and you guys entertaining us. Understand?

Good, now that the message is out, loud and clear, just wait for the email that will be forwarded all around singapore. Thats when it says,"Matchmaking Services is officially here!"

Humiliation

Gosh, I'm so embarrassed! For today's match against NJC, Jing Wen [j2] and I trashed the hell out of them. But for the Raffles match, I got trashed! It was so freaking embarrassing with the team supporting behind and many other spectators just randomly turning around. I bet I was laughed at hundred and millions of times!

Argh, I just couldn't receive one of my opponent's balls, its so frustrating. Every set was 11-3, 11-3 and 11-3. Like WTF! Gosh, after playing doubles for so long I lost the feel of playing singles and 11-3 is really really pathetic!

Okay, once the j2s step down, my new goal is to be able to defend every smack and "la qiao". Also, I have to perfect my "hua mian" until muahaha, they can't stand me and get irritated.

After reading this, please don't laugh at me.

The Spiderwick Chronicles

Flashback time, on the latest movie I've watched: The Spiderwick Chronicles. First of all, this movie resembles much of Harry Potter so if you're a Harry Potter fan, I'd greatly recommend this movie. Secondly, it has this scary factor in the movie - I almost screamed twice and when someone actually did, Pearlyn and I started laughing, haha.

Okay, on the 28th of March, Fun-o-rama eve, Pearlyn, Pei Wen and I went to Great World to watch this amazing movie. It's about a family who moved into an abandoned house in the woods and Jared, discovers much about the Spiderwick Field Guide, thereby leading towards the discovery of magical creatures. So there's this evil goblin who wants the field guide and he does everything he can to acquire it, killing Jared and his family. So on and on the plot goes and I absolutely love it. Its only the ENDING that freaking sucks!

ITS THE MOST ANTI-CLIMAX ENDING I'VE EVER SEEN! *warning: spoilers* THE EVIL GOBLIN GETS KILLED BY BEING EATEN! Lol! The three of us were like "WTH!"

Haha, but still, you should see the movie and my overall ratings is 3/5. Yeps, cause the creatures are really quite cute - except for the pig and the goblins, lol!

Fun-o-rama XIX

Warning: I'm sorry peeps, I aint got much photos to show you guys. =(

Woohoo! Fun-o-rama 19 is officially over! I have to say, the preparation was the most distressing part for all of us. On friday, 28th march 2008, everyone was pissed off and bitching about one another. I was one of them too, so tired and irritated with almost everyone. Thus I trudged home, bathed and tossed myself onto the bed at 8pm.

On funo day itself, I have to say it started off on a very low level. We didn't think our stall could make it but as the stream of people started waning in, our stall finally kicked off. "What the pong" seemed to be a catch-phrase that many people are using, haha. I guess it does sound kinda fun. At about 10am, we changed the rules where people could throw instead of using the bats. I even added in "$4 for 8 tries" which Kris was pretty against- cause he said it was against the rules. And I guess you guys have heard of ignorance is bliss? So with my ignorance, I continued on with this secret transaction behind Kris's back- muahaha. Did you see our advert pasted over the walls of the school? Our dearest Pearlyn did a splendid job on it!

I wanted to go to all the haunted houses but the queue was super-duper long and Wan Fen only stayed of half-an-hour [ wtf rite?] so I didn't in the end. Mathieu said that it wasn't really scary so I guess I'll just have to settle for that. Plus, the tickets were really expensive too, $10 per person! Oh, and my dear best friend finally gave me the drumsticks, love her so much!

So on and on this fun day flew and only towards the end, did I start to really enjoy the funfair. Shing Wai, Pei Wen, Cherry, Mathieu, Russell and I started to wander towards the back. Pei Wen wanted me to play and somebody's stall so that should could *ahem* but the queue was super long that we gave up in the end. I brought them to the chateh stall where although the game was super difficult, it was still grossly fun. Shing Wai was so cute, when she couldn't get the chapteh in, she would swing her hand and sigh "aiyah". Haha, I was laughing like mad. Russell and Mathieu got kinda addicted to it too but these two goons were laughing at me and in the end they themselves look equally stupid. We paid for about 30 rounds altogether, CAN YOU BELIVE IT? 30 ROUNDS! So anyway, after that stall, the girls went to play the H2O game where we didn't have to score anything to win. And guess what we won?

Competition Express

I played my first Nationals game today, against VJC, and sad to say we lost. Our second doubles, Beng Hong and I, played an extremely exciting and excruciating 2-3 game with us losing with a 11-9. However, I didn't feel as sad as I should have, in fact, I was quite calm about the loss. It was Michelle's lost that made me gasp in surprise. I have to admit the pressure was all piled up on her but I was so confident that the long-pimple bat was of no threat to her. Haha, the ACJC spirit, cocky arrogance: "cheh, Michelle can do it, don't need to see." *then scatters off to watch other matches". However, she started losing from the second set onwards. OH DEAR! But all in all, I think everyone played extremely well and better than I expected. GO AC!

I realised that everyone has flaws that we must all try to change, and fears that we must overcome. For me, my flaws smacked me right in the face during the ride from ac to pl. Let me list them down one by one:

1) I'm extremely lazy.
2) I am very superficial when it comes to my spouse.
3) I tend to talk to much and say the wrong things sometimes.
4) I'm unsensitive and oversensitive all at the wrong time.
5) I'm too money-minded.
6) I can be very selfish, especially when it comes to my friends, i don't like sharing them.
7) At times I'm very self-centered and want all the attention to myself.
8) I judge some people before I get to know them.
9) I laugh too loudly and sometimes at the wrong things.
10) Unconciously, i'm hurting my friends.
11) I'm too cocky and arrogant.

and the list goes on.

Here's 11 of my flaws that I must try and try and try to change for the better. Once in awhile, we must all look at our bad points and good points to change into a better person. Now here's 11 good points about me, haha! I'm praising myself:

1) I'm very friendly.
2) I smile a lot, thus it brightens the days of others.
3) I try to include everyone in whatever I do.
4) I am a very hyper person, thus usually i'm the one that participates in events.
5) I am a pretty competent treasurer ;).
6) I back up my friends when they need my support.
7) I make people laugh, regular joker of the class.
8) I apologize when I know that I am in the wrong.
9) I offer my seats to those who need it more than me.
10) I try my best to celebrate everyone's birthday.
11) I love praising others.

Celebrity Phase

Thanks to Pearlyn, I'm now slightly in love with this korean singer Kim Jae Joong. It started out as nothing, cause I wasn't even a fan of Dong Bang Shin Ki [DBSK], but now, it's like I'm comparing my future guy prospects to him. First of all, he's cute, hot, super tall [1.86] and young. Whats worst is that he's prettier than me. I mean, lets say he is my boyfriend, how can my boyfriend be prettier than me? Yucks and hell no! Therefore everytime I look at him, my heart rates jumps and dies out at the same time, weird huh?

He dyed his hair blonde and I love it. I started noticing him cause of his blonde hair actually, not because of his singing or looks.

See, told ya he's beautiful. How can a man be so beautiful?

Fortunately for me, I'm not utterly, devastatingly, hopelessly and madly in love with him. I know my limits and stuff cause he's way over in korea and I'm right here in sunny little Singapore, haha. Updated Resolutions

Oh dear! The new year isn't even over yet and here I am fretting on new resolutions! Well, I'm having lots of fun in acjc now. I absolutely love my class! Thank god I chose the arts stream cause I realised the people there are usually more loose and more funky. Not as competitive and conservative as those in the science stream. Yay, so happy! So far, the only thing thats damping my mood is table-tennis. Haiz, I can't really get along well with one of my j1 teammates and I'm not sure why so I keep trying my best to try to make things better between us. But it seems the harder I try it just doesn't work. I sincerely hope it gets better. >.< So back to the resolutions!

1)Study harder then the rest; Why? They got in here through good grades, not like me, with appeal. Lol!
2)Shut up more. I think I'm really too noisy in my class, they are just too fun to be with.
3)Be humble. People like humble people ya know?

and last but not least

4)Save up my money! I'm spending helluya amt each day and today I actually had to like beg Mathieu to treat me lunch. Pathetic right?

East Coast Park Outing

Yay! I went out with GO6 (Gang of six) again! Oh gosh, I miss them so much, especially Riyanti and Larissa. At first I thought it would be awkward cause after all, we haven't seen each other for quite awhile but in the end, everything turned up well. However, Caleb couldn't make it cause he was sick but Caleb, if you're reading this, WE STILL LOVE YOU! Haha!

So we met at Eunos MRT station with Melvin's msg: "Don't be late!". Yet knowing the rest, we turned up about half an hour past the scheduled time. I think Melvin was pissed but he said "nevermind" and I felt kinda bad. But ah hell, with the day's events still ahead nobody really gave a damn. When finally all of us had arrived, IT STARTED TO RAIN!! We were like, "what the hell!" cause we couldn't possibly rollerblade in such a weather therefore the only thing we could do was .... have breakfast. Wanna see some of the photos I took with dearest Larissa?

I was sitting on the horseride thus I look super tall. Muahaha!

As for this one!! Haha, i had to bend down okay?! Haha! Funny? Not funny...

Cause it was raining, we went to the arcade and have fun. And we really did have a lot of fun! Jason and Riyanti were playing the photo difference game - let me tell you arh, that game is really wastes your money. They play for 2 minutes only and 50cents is gone. Whats more, the screen is mega unclear so its so difficult to tell if it's a difference or not. Guess what I played?

I was laughing and laughing. Haha! But he's a natural, gets the hang of stuff really quickly. ;)

After awhile, we left the arcade, and it stopped raining! We went to take some neoprints in another arcade [haha, east coast has many arcades] then I had to leave for jurong point. We were selling Fun-o-rama coupons there. Haiz, they stayed and rollerbladed and cycled and what about poor lil me? All alone on the way to city hall to meet Pei Wen. <--- sounds too dramatic. =p

Step Up 2

I am absolutely captivated and enraptured by last night's movie with Tricia. Bringing back the notions of dancing and hip hop, the recently released Step Up 2: The Streets earned a full 5/5 score on my review system. The movie was a pure hardcore dance track and the steps were way wicked. Tricia and I were sitting in our seats "wowing" and "woahing" cause the stunts were really too cool. I've always wanted to learn freestyle but now I know, it sure as hell ain't easy. Did you know you need muscle abs? That way you can move the lower portion of your body easily. Anyway, let me just give you guys a warning about this movie. It's short, there's not much story to it but you are DEFINITELY gonna love it.

Thats hot guy and hot girl. Both the lead actor and actress are really good hip hop dancers. They're krumping, popping, locking, body waves- i'd give them full marks.

Misery in twofolds

I was miserable. This misery during the middle of the holidays was heightened by my pre-menstrual syndrome. Twice, I fled to the toilet to cry. I hate it so much that some people are so self-centered that they choose to ignore the feelings of others. All it takes is a little bit of attention and gesture to make me feel welcomed and noticed.

But no,that little gesture and notice wasn't given. In fact, nobody even thought of it. Thus what came to me was pure humiliation, loneliness and absolute misery. When you feel left out and people treat you as if you are invinsible, how would you feel? Especially if the one leaving you out is of someone who has a higher authority than you? All through the mid-hols I wanted to scream and shout at her for causing me such pain and loneliness. It's the first time I experienced such situations and the only immature way I could handle my emotions was to hide in the toilet cubicle and cry. However, when I was done and all the tears had been shed, my eyes, nose and mouth could not hide the evidence of weeping. For they were red, blotchy and swollen.

I hate this person so much that I actually euphoric when she was the butt of other people's wrath. Evil right? In fact, I hate all those who are such useless and careless people that they don't give a single shit about others. These are the type of people who should be banished beyond the face of the earth.

Okay, I know that you guys don't understand what I'm typing, I'm sorry about that. But, have fun during your hols. =]

Cherishing Life

Today's one of those rare days where I sit back and cherish those little things in life. Small little sweet and wonderful events happened throughout the day that made me appreciate the life I'm living even more. I guess I'm pretty emotional and sentimental today but I just woke up like that, i felt relaxed throughout the whole day.

So the first event started in the morning where this mean looking guy boarded the bus and sat in front of me. The first impression I got of him was a negative one but now I know - never judge a book by its cover. For he offered spare change to a school girl when she ran out of money in her ez-link card. And he was the first person to notice and offer help! What a kind soul! Furthermore, I loved the girl's spunky reply," Thanks, I'll return them to you if I ever see you on this bus again". After this episode, a warm, fuzzy tingle crept into my heart.

The second event was with my classmates. Each and everyone of them are really unique people. There's Thomas, Pei Wen, Cherry, Sarah, Mother, Russell, Matheiu [i don't know how to spell his name], Pamela, Pearlyn and many others that make me feel special too. They seem to really want to hang out with each other and get to know each other better. The warm tingle in my heart got warmer and fuzzier, it made me feel loved. Maybe I'm imagining things but for today, I wanna push all those negative thoughts away and think of how lovely this world is. Of course my dear cousin contributed to this warmth. For some reason, just by talking to her in school makes me happy. She was even so nice as to treat me FROZEN YOGURT! Aw, isn't that generous?

The third event: When I was about to close the door of my public cubicle, someone knocked on my door. I opened it and found this little girl staring up at me with beautiful eyes. "Hi, can I shee-shee please?" I wanted to point out all the other unused stalls to her but I thought, heck, why not, just give it to her. So I smiled and replied okay. Nothing much really but the girl was just too cute!

And lastly, Zhi Xiang, Eugene and Picchu gave me a really enjoyable dinner. Although my heart cried out when I paid about $20 for my dinner, its the times we shared that counts and we bonded once again. The three of them are totally different from any other people I've ever met. They're understanding, funny and absolutely open. They're not narrow-minded at all! Thus I love all three of them a lot.

Aw.. I think I really seem too sentimental today. I just read through my email and I saw the photos that melvin sent me. I miss go6!

Reflections

Bit by bit my life in AC has started to improve. I found out a really amazing fact: "There's as much people wanting to get into ACJC as there are wanting to get out." Lol, most of them were "kicked" out by NJC thus having to go to ACJC.

I'm in 1AA5, a totally new class, and I really like it a lot. There's no discrimination of PAE or JAE students thus making it easier for everyone to bond and have fun. Oh yeah, and about fun-o-rama, PEOPLE, PLEASE BUY TICKETS FROM ME! ITS FUN, I GUARANTEE IT! XD! So we had contact time today and we discussed about our preparations and stuff for fun-o-rama- so fun. I mean, the discussion was fruitful and I realise that there really are a lot of leaders in my class. There's Kris, Sarah, Matthieu, Michelle and others that have yet to unleash their potential. Whats more, almost everyone is willing to participate. yay!

Right now, the only fault in this bliss is training. I feel totally unsure of myself during training. I mean, I haven't really bonded with all of them and yet I think they pretty much have bonded with each other. Whats more, training is really slacking and boring. No one has the motivation to do much. The coach comes at 6.30, which is heck late and training ends at 7.30. So those who do get to train only get better and better, while the rest remain at their current level of standard. Argh, sometimes during training I start to think again and thats when I realised that I regret coming to ACJC through table-tennis. >.< I desperately pray and hope that this situations improves.

So thats it about now, I gotta work out a March Holidays Schedule asap. I'm lagging too far behind my studies, lol.

Orchard Outing

Muahaha, today I actually went to Orchard to watch a movie AND study. So, I was suppose to meet Picchu and Yao Qi at Orchard MRT station at 12.30. Guess what?! I reached there at 12.40pm and that Yao Qi arrived at 1.50pm. Wtf right?! I don't think I've ever waited so long for Wan Fen, lol! Haiz, and he still have the cheek to say "Its your honour to wait for me ;)"

Argh, the both of us were so pek-chek until we wanna bash his face and thats his retorting line. But lucky for him, our anger dissipated easily thus once we started walking towards Shaw and Ngee Ann City, we started talking as usual. So we ate and Ngee Ann's Yoshi and studied there. I was wearing my pair of favourite boots but friction had worn the sole out- thus when walking in the mall, i was clinging to Picchu's bag in case I fall down. That guy could still tell me, "When you fall I'm gonna take a picture and put it on my blog." THESE TWO GUYS VERY QIAN BIAN RIGHT? haha! Lesson learnt, never ever wear smooth-soled boots.

So we ate and studied and Yoshi, then headed straight for our movie. It's one of the most boring yet touching movie I've ever watched but I still wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Guys especially, you don't see the beauty of romance.

I had to pee in the middle and i missed the sex scene. oh crap.

Really really quite alike. Finally after the movie, we ate dinner, studied until 9pm [see, so hardworking right?] then went home. And once I reached home, dear Ping Chuan called and asked," Eh, I'm at Far East Plaza, how do i get to Orchard Mrt? I'M LOST!"

Day Number 1

Hmm, I've just finished my first day in ACJC and guess what, I MET LOTS OF REALLY NICE PEOPLE! It's really fun being there once you get used to it and crashing lectures are really easy. Except for H2 maths i think, there was this girl who was asked to leave the lecture theatre- so poor thing right? I crashed H2 Chem today and played Bingo with Amelia, haha! But I have to admit, the lecture notes aren't really that good and the lecturers usually speak in monotones- AHH!! Haha.

So, like I said, I met five really nice people today. Most of them are from Crescent but Chrismin is from RV. She even wanted to join table-tennis! However, she got intimidated by our pro-ness and skills that she's having second doubts about it. Aw... >.<. Oh! And I just found out that a cca in Junior College isn't really important, it's just for your testimonials. Muahaha, like how cool is that, can slack just a teensy-weensy little bit. XD After school, I went straight to Innova to help out with the CCA fair. Ah, how I miss my friends there. It was a pretty huge success, so fun! Drastic/Sudden Change

There I was waiting for Picchu and the rest [table-tennis team] and talking to Sharan at the same time. Then my phone in my pocket vibrated and wahla, change regarding my future occured. My appeal to ACJC got through and they called me at 7pm to inform me to report to school at eight for morning assembly. I felt so sad immediately. I mean, AC has been my dream since secondary four and once i grew attached to a new JC, Innova, this dream comes back and haunt me and shifts me to a whole different surrounding.

Of course ACJC is not as bad as I seem to portray it, IT DEFINITELY IS NOT! But I feel so alone, miserable and school-sick. Yeah, this is all just the beginning stage and I WILL adapt to it. Who knows, I might even have lots of fun there. I have to thank Jing Wen though, she followed me all around Singapore today. She's one of the nicest girls in AC table-tennis!

Nadiah, Ping Chuan and whoever reads this, please comfort me! I miss you guys all so much!

Now that I'm in a new school, I have to adopt a new attitude. I shall not reminisce about the past but in fact, look forward to the present. Here are my resolutions:

1) Thou shall endeavour to strive for the best.
2) Thou shall see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil.
3) Thou shall put on a care-free facade.
4) Thou shall have friends who like me for me.
5) Thou shall avoid joining or sticking to cliques, its better being a wanderer, haha. FREE ROAM!
6) Thou shall establish good relationships with my classmates.

7) Thou shall be humble. [ very important, people like humble people]

So I would try not to stick too much to people and be myself as much as i can. Haiz, its so different from Innova but I'll try my best! Wish me luck ya'll!

Isn't that sweet?! He even wanted to sing her song but I guess he didn't want to in the end so he just gave her flowers- which i have to add, were really beautiful. Anyway, just before he asked it, Sharmini and Melvin [the two lamers!] actually took a video of him "emo-ing". Haha, it's really cute. Here's the video that Melvin made.

Hey guys! I've changed my blog link once again, sorry about that. However, something new about it is that it's part of my image portfolio, haha. I've made glittery names that you can place on your friendster, facebook [i think] and even your blogs! But don't forget to credit me aight?

Well, just recently my computer got fixed so I've finally got a chance to edit this blog. I've been posted to Innova JC for those of you that are wondering. It's not really a good school and its super-dee-duper far [ITS AT WOODLANDS] but I enjoyed my stay in PAE so I've decided to go ahead with it. I did appeal to ACJC though but they told me the chances of getting accepted are extremely low thus I have to accept fate gracefully. Besides, I think the environment in ACJC is a little too cliquish for me. I can walk all alone in IJC and still feel quite relaxed but in AC, I actually feel kinda diminished when i walk alone. I guess I'm just not the type that really fit into cliques. >.<
